Today the Lord is encouraging us to be peacemakers

Be a Peacemaker

- Peace with God

- Peace of God

- Peace with Each Other

Peace means to live in a harmonious relationship with one another.

- You must have the Peace from God before you can become a peacemaker.

- You can't give what you don't have!

So, we must ask the question... Do you have peace with God, and have you received the Peace of God that comes from God?

Every time someone comes to Christ, they are reconciled to Christ and you who share area a peacemaker because they go from being an enemy of God to a friend/child of God. You are a peacemaker.

Two Characteristics of Peacemakers - James 4:11-12

1. Work to reconcile people in conflict.

2. Promote cooperation.

Invitation: Can you say today that you have peace with God?

If not, you can have his peace today by trusting Jesus as Lord of your life and turning from sin and hostility toward God and turning to Jesus.

Your invitation today is to be willing to trust God over your fears and promote peace in your relationships.
